Aloha Poke Co. of Chicago plans to open two Milwaukee restaurants as part of a national expansion.
One of the restaurants serving Hawaiian-style raw-fish dishes will be at 3116 N. Downer Ave., spokeswoman Taylor Tolbert said.
Another will be in the Third Ward, she added, but the location is not yet definite. Both are expected to be open by the end of the year, she said.
The restaurant, which debuted in Chicago in March 2016, plans to open restaurants in Minneapolis, Miami, Denver, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and several other southern California cities to feed the national craze for poke.
